Application Instructions
‘Eligibility Criteria’
- Must be a Ghanaian citizen.
- Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence.
- Applicants must prove that that they are unable to support their university education without the scholarship. That shall include the proof of financial difficulties, broken families, lack of parental/guardian support etc. These will be verified during the assessment process.
- Applicants must have gained admission to any accredited public tertiary institution in Ghana, including Teacher Training Colleges/Nursing Training Colleges/Technical Universities, prior to application. Note: No Private University will be considered (non-eligible)
- Persons with special needs or disabilities (PWDs) are encouraged to apply if they are eligible to access tertiary-level education.
- ONLY applicants from the seven coastal districts in the Western Region will be considered: Jomoro, Ellembelle, Nzema East, Ahanta West, Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly, Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly.
- ONLY Level 100 students admitted for the 2024/2025 academic year are eligible to apply. Note: Fee-paying students are not eligible.
- Programmes with a study-duration exceeding four years are not eligible.
- The Academic cut-off point is an aggregate 6 to 16 for WASSCE applicants and Credit or above for TVET/NABPTEX applicants. Note: Meeting this criterion does not guarantee shortlisting.
- Applicants from fishing families are encouraged to apply.
- ONLY shortlisted applicants will be contacted for an interview.
Applicants should note that meeting the above-mentioned criteria does not guarantee your selection as a scholarship beneficiary. Additional assessments of your application shall be conducted in accordance with internal procedures.

- A scanned copy of your admission letter.(Max 5MB)
- Valid email address
- Reliable telephone numbers that program organizers can use to contact you.
- A passport-sized photograph (Max 5MB)
